Paula L. Hawkins received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Akron in 1990 and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Mount Union College in 1986. She graduated first in her law school class in Wills, Trusts and Estates. While in law school, she served on the Law Review.

Paula was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1990, and she is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

Prior to graduating from law school, Paula began working in the Trust Department of The Mahoning National Bank of Youngstown (now known as Huntington National Bank) and continued working there as a trust officer until April 1999. At that time, Paula began working at Budish, Solomon, Steiner & Peck, Ltd. in Beachwood, Ohio and continued working there as a probate and trust administration attorney until March 2009.

Paula focuses her practice on probate and trust administration and estate planning.

Paula and her family reside in Garrettsville, Ohio.
